Hakyu Kim graduated from Corona Del Mar High School in California in 2010 and currently pursues a B.A. in Economics from New York University. For his mandatory military service, he served as an interpreter in the Republic of Korea Air Force Materiel Command and the Republic of Korea Joint Support Group in the Philippines. Hakyu was discharged from service on January 2015. Since then he has worked at a consulting company and a start-up company and prepared to go back to school on August 2015. After graduating from NYU, he wants to work in the finance industry.
2010년 미국 캘리포니아 Corona Del Mar High School을 졸업 후 뉴욕대학교에서 경제학 학사 과정을 수료 중임. 공군 물자사령부와 필리핀 합동 지원단에서 통역병으로 군 복무를 하였으며
2015년 1월 군 복무를 마침. 전역 이후 컨설팅 회사와 스타트업 업체에서 인턴 경험을 하면서 2015년 가을학기 복학 준비를 하고 있으며, 졸업 후 금융권에 종사하기를 희망.
