Richard is currently an architectural designer at Ewingcole. He graduated from Trinity College majoring in Studio Art and Architectural Studies. He continued to create art during his fellowship at Trinity, focusing on metal sculpting before studying architecture at the University of Pennsylvania. While in graduate school, Richard served as president for the Penn Korean Graduate Student Association and Korean Architecture Student Association. Richard has also studied abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark for architecture. Aside from designing buildings, Richard also enjoys traveling, singing, and DJ’ing.
현재 EwingCole 건축사무소에서 건축가로 근무중이다. 2010년 트리니티 대학에서 미술을 전공하면서 조각 연구장학생으로 1년간 트리니티에서 연구하기도 하였다.
2014년 펜실베니아대학교 펜디자인 대학원 건축석사학위를 취득하였고, 재학중에 대학원 한인 학생회, 펜디자인 한인학생회 회장으로 활동하였다. 대학시절 덴마크 코펜하겐에서 건축 공부를 한 경험도 있다.
