5. Charlie Parker Jazz Festival (찰리 파커 재즈 페스티벌)

New York City is the home to many great artists and musicians. Charlie Parker, a highly influential jazz soloist and a leading figure in the development of bebop, also found his home right here, in the East Village in 1950s. The Charlie Parker Jazz Festival is held annually to commemorate this world-renown musician and to bring together some of the finest musicians to share Parker’s musical individuality and genius with the public
